WORKING IN IBIZA
As arguably the liveliest resort, there are a huge range of jobs available. From bar work, PR'ing, ticket selling and bar work to unique jobs such as dancing, body painting and photography, there is a job for everyone. For more information on jobs check out our jobs page.
We work hand in hand with some of the best bars, for example Linekers, Koppas Bar, Soho and Entice, as well as long-standing relationships with the likes of the Kiosk, where you can obtain tickets for every event under the Ibiza sun. HOW TO FIND WORK IN IBIZA
Here at Summertime workers we have great relationships with the bars, clubs and events in the resort, our reps will be setting up job recruitment days for all of our guests when you arrive in the resort. You don't have to bring hundreds of CV's but we would advise bringing a cover letter with any previous experience you have (if you don't have any, that's not a problem), we will train you up so you feel comfortable in the job you want to do.
We take control of the job front for you, if you feel you would like to do a specific role or change roles let our reps know in the resort and they will be able to provide you with all the information needed about the bars, clubs and events that are recruiting and take you down to introduce you to the managers so you can have a chat about the roles available and get you started!
SHIFT PATTERNS IN IBIZA
When working in Ibiza, hours and shifts will vary depending on your job of choice. Ticket sellers can expect to be our enhancing their tan on the job, whilst bar workers will obviously start later. The average shift is between 4 - 6 hours, Summertime workers guests and reps tend to post in the private groups about days our they can arrange for anyone who has time off, these days out normally consist of visiting beaches, waterparks or sight seeing around this amazing resort.
HOW MUCH DO YOU GET PAID IN IBIZA
As our most expensive resort to live in, this is reflected by the wages in Ibiza. In peak season you can earn more than €100 per day, work hard and you'll be rewarded.
The average wage is around €50 per shift, if you are confident and think commission based work would be best for you then the sky is the limit. Thousands and thousands of tourists visit Ibiza each year so there are plenty of people to sell tickets, shots and your events to!
UPON ARRIVAL IN IBIZA
Our reps will meet you at the hotel to get you all settled in to work in Ibiza. This is when the party begins - treat this first week as the holiday part of your working abroad experience. Between welcome meetings, Summertime workers bar crawls, epic parties and sightseeing you won't have a spare moment!
With days at Ocean Beach where you can enjoy the wild antics, unleash your animal at the Zoo Project or get involved in one of the best night events at Ushuaia, Space and Snakets making unforgettable memories with your new working abroad family.
EXTRA WORK IN IBIZA
After the initial 28 days accomodation we provide, if you want to stay longer in the resort, let the reps know and we can help extend your stay for you. It's always best to let the reps know as soon as you decide you want to stay longer so it gives us a bit more time to provide this service to you. Hundreds of guests stay longer than the initial 28 days so there's no need to worry, we are experts at helping extend accommodation.
Here at Summertime Workers we work with all the main bars, clubs,events and restaurant owners to ensure that finding a job couldn't be easier. Once you arrive in the resort our experienced reps will fo through every aspect of working abroad, we will have job introduction days and do our best to ensure job trials ready for you all when you arrive. We make it as easy and stress free as possible.

BAR WORK

Bar work is one of the most popular in each resort, you will work for some of the best bars, events and clubs in the resort. Experience is preferred but not essential.
If you like meeting new people, free drinks and are quick on your feet you will love bar work.
TICKET SELLING
- €25-€300+ DURING PEAK SEASONS, TICKET SELLING PAY VARIES BETWEEN RESORTS/DAYS
- YOU ARE MOSTLY YOUR OWN BOSS, CHOOSE YOUR HRS. MORE HOURS = MORE MONEY!
Selling tickets to tourists for the biggest events in the resort such as huge club nights, bar crawls and booze cruises!
CLUB / PR WORK
- €25 - €50 PER DAY/NIGHT PLUS COMMISSION
- SHIFTS VARY FROM 4 - 8 HRS PER DAY/NIGHT
You will be working in lively bars, clubs and events chatting to tourists and selling a variety of shots. This is a very social job and confidence is key!
You get to meet a lot of new people, free drinks and basically get paid to party!
RESTAURANT WORK
- ROLE DEPENDANT €30 - €60 PLUS COMMISSION
- 5 - 8 HRS PER SHIFT ON AVERAGE
You will attracting people into the restaurant, waitering/waitressing, kitchen staff or even the chef.
These roles are extremely popular as the majority of the time you have the nights off to enjoy yourself
SHOT SELLING
- €25 - €50 PER DAY/NIGHT PLUS COMMISSION
- SHIFTS VARY FROM 4 - 8 HRS PER DAY/NIGHT
You will be working in lively bars, clubs and events chatting to tourists and seeling a variety of shots. This is a very social job and confidence is key!
You get to meet a lot of new people, free drinks and basically get paid to party
DANCERS
- €40 - €60 EUROS PER NIGHT
- SHIFTS VARY, ON AVERAGE THEY ARE 4 - 6 HRS PER SHIFT
Your job will involve dancing on stages, podiums and bars, there are a huge amount of opportunities for this role although some experience is needed.
If you think this role is for you, you'll enjoy the lively party atmosphere at work, free drinks and the free clothing.
DJ WORK
- THIS DEPENDS ON YOUR EXPERIENCE, PAY FOR DJ’S IN EVERY RESORT IS HIGH!
- SHIFTS DO VARY, USUALLY BETWEEN 4 - 7 HRS
DJ work is in huge demand across all of the resorts, every bar, club and event needs an experienced DJ. It is definitely one of the best jobs to do when you are working abroad.
You'll enjoy the sociable side, free drinks, high rate of pay and getting paid to party!
GLASS COLLECTING
- €25 - €50 PER SHIFT
- 4 - 8 HRS SHIFTS
Your role will be to collect the empty glasses in the bars and clubs and bring them back to the bar, you need to be fast on your feet to ensure its a quick turnaround at the bar.
You'll enjoy the lively atmosphere and meeting new people every night!
HOLIDAY REP
- PAY VARIES UPON EXPERIENCE BUT STARTS FROM 200 EUROS PER WEEK
- HOURS VARY DEPENDING ON ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES, MAY BE NEEDED TO WORK DAILY
Being a holiday rep means you will be outgoing, energetic and responsible for making sure our guests have an unforgettable working holiday! You’ll need to be the life and soul of the party as well as the ability to work well under pressure and keep a cool head for any problems that may arise – not forgetting you go above and beyond where necessary to ensure a once in a lifetime experience with Summertime Workers. If you’re flamboyant, outgoing, social and a go-getter then this is the job for you.
FACE / BODY PAINTING
- €20 - €40 PER SHIFT PLUS COMMISSION
- SHIFTS VARY BETWEEN 2 - 6 HRS
Face and body painting are very in demand in all of our resorts. more and more events are encouraging people to get dressed up making it increasingly more popular, you'll never be out of work.

I used summer time workers for the first time this year and honestly i couldnt be happier with the service and care i received. As soon as i arrived to the hotel i was given a warm welcome by the team. Everyone was amazing and helpful. Within the first day of me being there, Warren from summer time workers had already sorted out my first job ( Djing at @FacesIbiza) this had already filled me with relief. This goes to show the team are very hard working and helpful. The team also bring all the workers to the club i was djing at which was amazing of them. All in all my experience with this agency is amazing. i will for sure be using this agency again. Hats off to the team for being amazing!

I visited Ibiza this year and couldn't have received a better service. All round great experience with a fantastic company. The reps were always on hand to help, regardless of how big or little your issue or query was. They became like friends and family whilst still doing their jobs as reps. I made some of the most amazing friends who I otherwise wouldn't have met. They took us on days out and helped us secure jobs and longer stay accommodation. They went above and beyond during my time with them and I couldn't recommend them enough, I will be going away next year with them and wouldn't go with another company!!

AYIA NAPA...
This was my first time ever living and working abroad and I can honestly say I've had the best experience! I've made so many memories and met people who'll be my friends for life!! I'd definitely recommend summertime workers. The only let down I had was staying for a month, once you're out there you want to stay longer which I will do next time. AYIA NAPA was defo one of my best experiences!!!!!
