Magaluf's party reputation speaks for itself, it is undoubtably one of the best destinations in the world for night life. There are also some beautiful beaches with relaxed atmospheres if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the Magaluf strip. Magaluf has it all, you'll never be border in the resort with its watersparks, water sports, incredible scenery and much more. With all that Magaluf has to boast there's no question why its one of the most popular workers destinations.
Magaluf is only a two hour flight away (flights are cheap) making it even more popular! With the Summertime workers discount bands your money will go even further, the bands allow you cheap discount for drinks, food and events throughout your stay in Magaluf.
A SEASON IN MAGALUF
We highly recommend our guests arriving at the end of April - mid May, this is when the season is starting and there are more jobs available through this period. You will have your initial months accommodation with us and if you want to extend that just let us know and we can secure you further information for the season.
SHIFT PATTERNS IN MAGALUF
Hours and shifts will vary depending on your job of choice when working in Magaluf. Ticket sellers can expect to be out enhancing their tan on the job, whilst bar workers will obviously start later. The average shift is between 4 - 6 hours, this leaves you with plenty of free time to see what Magaluf is all about! Summertime workers guests and reps tend to post in the private groups about days out they can arrange for anyone who has time off, these days out normally consist of visiting beaches, waterparks or sight seeing around this amazing resort.
HOW MUCH DO YOU GET PAID IN MAGALUF
Magaluf's pay is one of the best in all of the resorts, wages on average are from €40 - €75 euros per shift before any commission or tips you earn! With the Summertime workers discount bands entitling you to cheap food, drinks and events there's no way you will spend all of that money, many of our huests come back with money saved up from the season working in Magaluf!
In peak season the wages go even higher so you can be looking at anything from €75 - €100 per shift!
WORKING IN MAGALUF
The Majority of jobs in Magaluf come from its infamous nightlife scene, the most popular jobs are bar work, ticket selling, dancers and restaurant work. If you think you'd earn more on commission based roles we will have some great roles available for you through Magaluf's biggest event companies.

EXTRA WORK IN MAGALUF
After the initial 28 days accommodation we provide if you want to stay longer in the resort let the reps know and we can help extend your stay for you. It's always best to let the reps know as soon as you decideyou want to stay longer so it gives us a bit of time to provide this service for you. Hundreds of guests stay longer than the initial 28 days so there's no need to worry, we are experts at helping extend accommodation.
UPON ARRIVAL IN MAGALUF
Once you arrive in Magaluf our reps will meet and greet you at the apartments, they will help get you checked in and into your apartment with your room mates you have previously chosen through the workers forums and Facebook groups. When you are settled the reps will go through an introduction meeting with you telling you all about the resort and what it has to offer, what jobs are available, what the first week entails, tips for you to have an even more amazing time and they will answer any questions you may have. After the meeting this is when the real fun happens, the first night will be a bar crawl, the pre drinks will be provided (on us) and then our reps will take you to all the best bars and clubs so you can really see what Magaluf's nightlife is all about.
Throughout the first week you will get to see all the best parts of Magaluf's nightlife along with many recruitment days to get you working as soon as you want to and our reps will show you some of the best scenery and beaches in the resort.
HOW TO FIND WORK IN MAGALUF
Here at Summertime workers we have great relationships with the bars, clubs and events in the resort, our reps will be setting up job recruitment days for all of our guests when you arrive in the resort. You don't have to bring hundreds of CV's but we would advide bringing a cover letter with any previous experience you have (if you don't have any, that's not a problem), we will train you up so you feel comfortable in the job you want to do.
We take control of the job front for you, if you feel you would like to do a specific role or change roles let our reps know in the resort and they will be able to provide you with all the information needed about the bars, clubs and events that are recruiting and take you down to introduce you to the managers so you can have a chat about the roles available and get you started!
Here at Summertime Workers we work with all the main bars, clubs,events and restaurant owners to ensure that finding a job couldn't be easier. Once you arrive in the resort our experienced reps will fo through every aspect of working abroad, we will have job introduction days and do our best to ensure job trials ready for you all when you arrive. We make it as easy and stress free as possible.

Bar work is one of the most popular in each resort, you will work for some of the best bars, events and clubs in the resort. Experience is preferred but not essential.

Selling tickets to tourists for the biggest events in the resort such as huge club nights, bar crawls and booze cruises!

You will be working in lively bars, clubs and events chatting to tourists and selling a variety of shots. This is a very social job and confidence is key!

RESTAURANT WORK
- ROLE DEPENDANT €30 - €60 PLUS COMMISSION
- 5 - 8 HRS PER SHIFT ON AVERAGE
You will attracting people into the restaurant, waitering/waitressing, kitchen staff or even the chef.
These roles are extremely popular as the majority of the time you have the nights off to enjoy yourself
SHOT SELLING
- €25 - €50 PER DAY/NIGHT PLUS COMMISSION
- SHIFTS VARY FROM 4 - 8 HRS PER DAY/NIGHT
You will be working in lively bars, clubs and events chatting to tourists and seeling a variety of shots. This is a very social job and confidence is key!

DANCERS

Your job will involve dancing on stages, podiums and bars, there are a huge amount of opportunities for this role although some experience is needed.
If you think this role is for you, you'll enjoy the lively party atmosphere at work, free drinks and the free clothing.
DJ WORK
- THIS DEPENDS ON YOUR EXPERIENCE, PAY FOR DJ’S IN EVERY RESORT IS HIGH!
- SHIFTS DO VARY, USUALLY BETWEEN 4 - 7 HRS
DJ work is in huge demand across all of the resorts, every bar, club and event needs an experienced DJ. It is definitely one of the best jobs to do when you are working abroad.
You'll enjoy the sociable side, free drinks, high rate of pay and getting paid to party!
GLASS COLLECTING
- €25 - €50 PER SHIFT
- 4 - 8 HRS SHIFTS
Your role will be to collect the empty glasses in the bars and clubs and bring them back to the bar, you need to be fast on your feet to ensure its a quick turnaround at the bar.
You'll enjoy the lively atmosphere and meeting new people every night!
HOLIDAY REP
- PAY VARIES UPON EXPERIENCE BUT STARTS FROM 200 EUROS PER WEEK

FACE / BODY PAINTING

I used summer time workers for the first time this year and honestly i couldnt be happier with the service and care i received. As soon as i arrived to the hotel i was given a warm welcome by the team. Everyone was amazing and helpful. Within the first day of me being there, Warren from summer time workers had already sorted out my first job ( Djing at @FacesIbiza) this had already filled me with relief. This goes to show the team are very hard working and helpful. The team also bring all the workers to the club i was djing at which was amazing of them. All in all my experience with this agency is amazing. i will for sure be using this agency again. Hats off to the team for being amazing!

I visited Ibiza this year and couldn't have received a better service. All round great experience with a fantastic company. The reps were always on hand to help, regardless of how big or little your issue or query was. They became like friends and family whilst still doing their jobs as reps. I made some of the most amazing friends who I otherwise wouldn't have met. They took us on days out and helped us secure jobs and longer stay accommodation. They went above and beyond during my time with them and I couldn't recommend them enough, I will be going away next year with them and wouldn't go with another company!!

AYIA NAPA...
This was my first time ever living and working abroad and I can honestly say I've had the best experience! I've made so many memories and met people who'll be my friends for life!! I'd definitely recommend summertime workers. The only let down I had was staying for a month, once you're out there you want to stay longer which I will do next time. AYIA NAPA was defo one of my best experiences!!!!!
